IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION: 2026 ATTESTATION AND COMMCOM
Communications Compliance (CommCom) will not be conducting a Compliance Attestation lodgement and assessment cycle in 2026 under the Industry Code C628:2019 Telecommunications Consumer Protections Code (‘TCP Code’). CommCom will also be winding up the company, so no compliance cycles will be run in the future.
The Carriage Service Provider Portal run by CommCom is not accepting new CSP registrations and will be decommissioned shortly. CSPs already registered with CommCom will also receive individual confirmation via email.
In making these decisions, the Board of CommCom has had regard to the recent determination by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (‘ACMA’) to create a new Industry Standard to replace the TCP Code. The ACMA announced that it will be acting with priority to achieve this outcome.
CommCom acknowledges the significant efforts made by CSPs since 2012 under the co-regulatory regime to demonstrate compliance with the TCP Code. CSPs should maintain compliance with the TCP Code for the interim period as the focus of regulatory attention moves to developing the new Industry Standard and the associated compliance regime. Please check the ACMA and Australian Telecommunications Alliance (ATA) websites for updates.
Welcome to the Communications Compliance CSP Portal
If you sell telecommunications services which are regulated by the Telecommunications Consumer Protections (TCP) Code C628:2019, you are required to register with Communications Compliance and lodge an annual TCP Code Compliance Attestation, which allows CommCom to assess your level of compliance with the Code. The process for the lodgement of your Attestation is facilitated via this Portal.
The CSP Portal also provides guidance on TCP Code compliance.
If you have already registered with CommCom please use the login on the left. Your login will be the email address or addresses to which previous CommCom correspondence has been sent. If you have only registered one point of contact we strongly recommend that you create a second contact to ensure that no important communications are missed.
